Send MNTN reports quickly and seamlessly using the Email Report functionality.

Instant Email, Scheduling an Email, and Managing Scheduled Emails are available from the Share Icon in the Reporting Dashboard. This option is accessible in any report, both templated and custom reports.

Upon clicking the Share icon, you will be prompted to either:

  • Email this Report

  • Schedule an Email

  • Manage Scheduled Emails

Email This Report

The available report formatting will differ depending on the data you want to email. If you're emailing data from the widget section of your report, you'll notice the option to send via PNG, as seen below.

If you're emailing data from the table, you'll notice a few formatting options populate:

  • CSV

  • XLSX

  • JSON

πŸ’‘Note: The email's data range will reflect the selected date range in the reporting platform.

Schedule an Email

You can also schedule emails to be sent regularly to the desired email addresses. This is particularly helpful if your third-party attribution partner ingests data from designated email addresses. Simply schedule a MNTN report to be sent to the email address or email end-point of your choice.

πŸ’‘Note: When you schedule an email, the report will be sent to the desired email address the following morning at 9 am ET/6 am PT.

We recommend using the Email this Report button if you need the report ASAP.

Set your Schedule

Simply set your schedule for the email to be sent:

  • Once

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Monthly

Started Sending / Stop Sending

Determine when your scheduled emails will start and any associated end date. You can also select Ongoing if there is no end date in sight.

Report Date Range

Determine the desired dates of your report:

  • Week to Date

  • Month to Date

  • Quarter to Date

  • Year to Date

  • Last Week

  • Last 7 Days

  • Last 30 Days

  • Last Month

  • Custom

If you select custom, the applied dates will continue to be static. Meaning they will not dynamically populate over time. For this reason, we typically recommend leveraging the other pre-templatized date options to ensure data is dynamically updated.

Email Subject

The email subject will always follow the standard nomenclature as follows:

{Account Name} | {Report Name}

Email Recipients

Add your colleagues' email addresses or email end-points for your third-party platform so they can receive and ingest your custom-scheduled emails. If you send these reports to multiple colleagues, separate all email addresses with a comma.

File Format

Select the desired format of your scheduled email. When scheduling an email for the graphical widget portion of your reporting, you will not have the option to choose the formatting. All widgets will be emailed as PNG files.

For tabular data, you have the following options:

  • CSV

  • XLSX

  • JSON

πŸ’‘Note: If you'd like the data to be sent in multiple formats, you must create a separate custom email to be scheduled with the desired format.

Manage Scheduled Emails

Once scheduled reports are created, you can manage them by selecting Manage Scheduled Emails.

The Email Schedule Manager Includes:

  • The subject of the email

  • The attached report

  • The file type

  • Frequency the report is sent

  • Date Range

  • Recipients of the report

  • The date the report was created

  • The date the report was updated

You can also access the report settings to view, edit, or delete.
