Within this article, you will have the opportunity to see common questions about Ad Builder.
Which ad sizes matter most/are served most?
The 2 most commonly served mobile ad sizes are 300x50 and 320x50. Video doesn't show on mobile, so please make sure that the static image shows all relevant visual information.
The ad sizes we serve are below, so focus your ad builder edits on these 6 sizes:
[Square] - 300x250
[Landscape] - 728x90, 320x50, 300x50
[Portrait] - 300x600 and 160x600
💡Note: Every campaign ad group requires a square 300x250 ad size. Additionally, at least 3 ad sizes are required to save the campaign ad group.
Can I download ads that I have made in Ad Builder?
Because MNTN leverages our own proprietary ad server, clients are unable to download Multi-Touch creative designed within the platform and use them elsewhere. However, if you wish to create your own Multi-Touch creative outside of MNTN and then upload it to our platform, you may do so (more information is available in the Uploading Your Own Multi-Touch article).
How do I share previews of my ads with teammates who are not on the MNTN platform?
If you are looking to share the ads you have created with internal team members, you are able to grab the preview links for those ads. To do this, navigate to Creative>My Creative, click into the creative you wish to share, select the settings wheel in the upper right, hit "Share", and enter the team member email addresses.
Can I delete ad sizes from the platform-generated ad sizes?
You cannot remove ad sizes when utilizing the “Generate All Ad Sizes” feature (ads designed within the MNTN platform). However, we recommend utilizing the sizes below to focus your creative efforts.
[Square] - 300x250
[Landscape] - 728x90, 320x50, 300x50
[Portrait] - 300x600 and 160x600
What happens if my ad size shows incorrectly? Ie: 300x250 is showing as a 728x90

Can ads have sound?
Multi-Touch creative cannot have sound, as the vast majority of ad publishers do not allow for sound. If they do, it tends to be a button the user has to press and statistically publishers often don't enable it, so we have chosen not to allow sound on display ads. We recommend using the overlaying text to outline the message you want the user to receive.
