You can add videos by selecting the Video Element from the element selector.
In this article, we'll cover the following:

Upload your videos by dragging and dropping them into the Upload box or by clicking the box to upload videos from your computer.

💡 Note: The IAB only permits videos to play for 30 seconds at a time and restricts the use of audio.
Uploading Videos from YouTube
The Ad Builder allows you to upload videos directly from YouTube. To upload your videos, follow the steps below.
Click YouTube in the Video Attributes Panel.
Use the search bar to enter keywords and browse videos across the Youtube platform.
Hover over the video and use the Plus sign to add the videos to your video library, or use the Apply & Use Now button to add the video to your creative immediately.
Once you're done browsing, click the Back arrow to close out of the YouTube view.
Best Practices for YouTube Videos
Public videos with comments enabled or monetized YouTube channels run the risk of playing pop-up ads. To avoid pop-up ads on videos you own:
Make sure comments are disabled.
Make sure your videos are set as unlisted. You can find this in the privacy settings.
Make sure the channel you are using is not monetized. If your brand's primary channel is monetized, you can create a separate, unlisted channel for the videos you'd like to use in your ads.
💡 Note: You cannot control advertisements on videos that you do not own. If you are using a video you do not own, be aware that the video can be edited or removed from Youtube without notice.
Uploading Videos from Shutterstock
Access various videos by selecting the Shutterstock Video option and searching through their video library.
Start by selecting Shutterstock Video from the Video Attributes Panel.
Use the search bar to enter keywords related to your search. The video search will pull up various videos in Shutterstock's asset library.
Hover over the video and use the Plus sign to add the videos to your video library, or use the Apply & Use Now button to add the video to your creative immediately.
Once you're done browsing, click the Back arrow to close out of the Shutterstock Video view.
Customizing Videos
From the Video attributes panel, you can customize how the video is displayed within the ad.
Add an image preview by:
Uploading an image
Selecting from the Image Library, or selecting from Shutterstock.
💡 Note: YouTube sets predetermined poster images for videos, you can bypass this by uploading an image preview.
Turning on autoplay will make the video play automatically when the page loads.
If you turn autoplay off, the user will need to hover over the ad before the video plays.
Turning loop on will make the video run in a loop, whereas turning loop off will make the video come to an end.
🧠 Pro tip: For videos with loop off, consider adding another scene with an image or other element.
Adjusts when the video begins. For example, if set at 8 seconds the video will start 8 seconds in.
Adjusts how long the video will play with Duration.
Resizing Videos
You have two options for resizing your video within your ad creative.
Resizing from Attributes Panel: You can resize your video within the attributes panel by entering the Width and Height in pixels of your desired size. Or, by using the plus and minus sign to increase or decrease its size.
💡Note: updating video size from here will not lock the aspect ratio, so it may distort the video.
Resizing in the Ad Workboard: Edit the size from within the ad work board by using the bounding box to drag the corners or sides of the video element to resize it.
Moving Videos
You have two options for moving your video within your ad creative.
Defining Pixel Placement: You can define where the element lives based on pixel placement using the Top and Left fields. The Top field will define the number of pixels between the top edge of the ad frame to the top edge of the video element. The Left field will define the number of pixels between the left edge of the ad frame to the left edge of the video element.
Moving in the Ad Workboard: You can drag and drop the video element within the ad workboard to relocate the element to your desired position.
Aligning Videos
The Element Align tool allows you to align the video element in relation to the ad frame. Alignments include top, horizontal center, bottom, left, vertical center, and right.
