Overview

MNTN's Audience dashboard allows you to:

  • Access all of your first and third-party audience data in one place

  • Blend MNTN Matched, Interests, CRM, Site Visitors, and Geographic Locations to hone in on your exact customer profile

  • Create and store specific Location, CRM, and Site Visitor segments for convenient reuse

  • Precisely target over thousands of audiences from LiveRamp and other data providers.

Navigate the Audience Sub-Tab

The audience tab houses your previously built, fully defined audiences ready to add to your MNTN campaign. To get to the dashboard, simply select the Audience tab from the top of the navigation bar.

You'll notice varying icons will appear under the Segments column for each Audience. These icons describe the segment composition of this audience.

Edit an existing audience or segment

To edit an existing audience or segment, simply select the three dots on the right-hand side of previously built audiences or segments to prompt a drop-down menu. The available options depend on the tab you are operating in. Some options include:

  • Preview the details of your audience or segment

  • Edit the audience or segment

  • Duplicate the audience or segment for editing purposes

  • Delete the audience or segment

Navigate the Segments Sub-Tab

The Segments Tab allows you to create, store, and manage individual Site Visitors, CRM, and Location segments. Once built, you can use these segments and attach them to an audience within the Audience Builder.

Site Visitors

Site Visitors segment tab houses:

  • All of your previously built First Party audiences and newly built Site-Visitor segments

  • A snapshot of the last 30 days of your pixel data

  • Total site-wide performance metrics

πŸ“ Note: Any Site Visitor segment created within the Audience Builder tool will also populate here.

Your Site's Raw Metrics

Gives you the high-level details associated with your total site-visiting audience. This dashboard will change to reflect the summary data of any audience you select from the list.

Site Visitor Table

Gives you quick access to all the site visitor segments you have created. From here, you'll be able to quickly see the most important stats that pertain to each audience segment in the list, including:

  • Unique Users

  • Average Order Value

  • Conversion Rate

  • Campaigns (number of campaigns associated with that particular segment)

Geographic summary

The geographic breakdown of all your site visitors by U.S. Region.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tip: We recommend connecting with your CSM if you need support on your audience strategy.

CRM

Upload and manage your CRM Data from the CRM segment tab. The CRM Segment tab houses:

  • All previously uploaded CRM lists

  • Any newly uploaded CRM lists

These lists can be used as inclusions or exclusions when building an audience.

πŸ“ Note: Any CRM lists uploaded within the Audience Builder tool will also populate here.

Location

Upload and manage your bulk location segment uploads from the Location tab, which houses:

  • All previously uploaded bulk location lists

  • Bulk geo upload functionality

πŸ“ Note: Any bulk location lists uploaded or created within the Audience Builder tool will also populate here.

Bulk Geo Upload File Specifications

All bulk geo-uploaded lists must contain just one data type of the following:

  • DMA

  • Zip

  • City

  • State

One CSV file cannot contain entries for both DMA codes and Zips. This would require two separate CSV file uploads.

If you would like to append multiple location segments of the same or different data types to your audience at one time, simply select and include the desired location segments for your audience within the audience builder.

⚠️ Warning: We recommend against using the bulk city upload tool as our system cannot differentiate a city name that has more than one location. For instance, a 'Portland' entry could be Portland, Maine, or Portland, Oregon. Instead, individually search and select the relevant cities or use the bulk DMA option.
