Publisher Blocklist
Upon reviewing your Multi-Touch ad placements, we understand that advertisers may have preferences that define which publishers they consider suitable for their brand. That’s why we have a tool directly in the platform that allows you to block publishers in your account.
💡Note: Constraining inventory also limits our ability to reach users wherever they’re online, which can impact reach and performance.
🧠 Pro Tip: We recommend reaching out to your MNTN support team to discuss possible performance or spend impacts that accompany the block of a publisher.
How to Block a Publisher
Individual Block:
Go to My Account

Removing a Blocked Publisher
Remove a Single Domain from the Blocklist
To remove a domain that has been blocked, select the Trash icon on that line item.
To Remove Multiple Domains from the Blocklist
To delete multiple domains that have been blocked, select the boxes next to the desired domain and then select the down arrow at the top to "Delete Selected".
Additional Information:
Publisher blocks will go into effect immediately
There is no limit to the number of publishers you can block, but we do recommend working with your MNTN Support Team to ensure you are not limiting reach and performance
Publisher blocking is done by domain, so there is no need to enter sub-domains, individual pages of a website, etc.
The tool will strip a website when entered, so the removal of any characters outside of the domain name is to be expected (ex. https or parameters appended after the domain)
FAQs
Why is MNTN Listed as a Publisher?
We use 3rd party exchanges to serve your CTV ads on publisher sites and provide real-time bidding to ensure we optimize your ad spend. Occasionally, the data for purchased inventory cannot be passed through our exchanges. This occurs when data is passing hands and is an infrequent occurrence.
Why would there be a publisher outside of the USA (example: such as .uk) in the URL?
Although the domains are different countries, you are able to consume content in the USA if a user is interested in these articles.
💡Note: MNTN only delivers ads to users identified in your target market - the USA. We utilize an audience first approach, so we target your users on the publishers they are actively visiting (with some exceptions given our brand safety structure).
