Overview
Before you start, you'll need three things to ensure a successful pixel setup:
MNTN Javascript Tracking Pixel
MNTN Image Tracking Pixel
MNTN Image Conversion Pixel
You can find MNTN's Javascript tracking pixel by navigating to My Account and selecting Pixel from the dropdown. From there, you will click the Install button for Manual Installation.
A pop up will appear where you download the Tracking Pixel code, copy, or you can toggle Show Code.
β οΈ Warning: MNTN image pixels must be generated. If they haven't been provided, contact us to have them generated for you.
Install Pixels
MNTN Tracking Pixel:
Install your MNTN Javascript tracking pixel site-wide.
Ensure your MNTN Javascript tracking pixel has been placed across all U.S. pages of your website. This can be done either:
using the Community Template Gallery within your Google Tag Manager workspace
on your website directly
Place the MNTN image tracking pixel across all relevant pages within Ticketmaster.
Navigate to the Marketing tab of your TM1 dashboard.
Under Add New on the left-hand column, select Pixel.
Under Channel, ensure Ticketmaster is selected.
Under the Page Type section, check Artist-Venue or Venue-Artist Pages and Event Detail Page (EDP)
Set the Start Date to today's date. You do not have to select an End Date.
Under the Pixel section, select Custom from the Select Pixel Vendor list.
Input the MNTN Tracking Image Pixel string into the Starting URL field.

The image tag has <some text> for certain placeholder fields and should be filled out using the Custom Parameters section. Refer to this article's Required Custom Parameters section to complete the Custom Parameters section in Ticketmaster.

Click Save Pixel Tracking on the bottom-right corner.
MNTN Conversion Pixel:
Install your MNTN Conversion Image Pixel within the TM1 Dashboard:
Navigate to the Marketing tab of your TM1 dashboard.
Under Add New on the left-hand column, select Pixel.
Under Channel, ensure Ticketmaster is selected.
Under the Page Type section, check Confirmation Page-Primary and Confirmation Page - Resale.
Set the Start Date to today's date. You do not have to select an End Date.
Under the Pixel section, select Custom from the Select Pixel Vendor list.
Input the MNTN Conversion Image Pixel string into the Starting URL field.

Click Save Pixel Tracking on the bottom-right corner.
Required Custom Parameters
Under the Custom Parameters section in Ticketmaster, enter the Variable Name and select the Ticketmaster Value from the drop-down.

| random | A necessary parameter to instruct the browser not to cache the URLs for the call, so it will fire actual calls to the MNTN Pixel Service every time. |

| pageURL | Allows the pixel to get the proper page URL as a referrer, which is needed for various MNTN Pixel features, such as identifying the different types of pages, filtering pages, firing rules, etc. |
|
| Order Confirmation Code | The ID of the purchase order or other acquisition identifier, in alpha-numeric formats, like A-1000123. |
|
| Face Value (Revenue without Fees) | The amount of the purchase order, or other value referring to an acquisition, in numeric format, like order amount 1234.56, or 123. |
