Audience Reach identifies opportunities to extend the reach of your TV campaigns and generate more outcomes with similar efficiency.

Audience Reach provides a barometer to tailor your budget to reach more members of your desired audience. This is an excellent tool if you want to increase your campaign's budget and want to measure the impact of that increased budget on your overall reach.

Evaluating Your Campaign's Audience Reach

To access this feature, click on any of your campaigns to see how many households your campaign currently reaches versus the total available audience.

Audience Reach is available for prospecting and retargeting campaigns and measures your campaign's reach on its audience. Upon clicking into your campaign, the Performance Tab populates with the Audience Reach widget, as seen below.

Current Reach

Current Reach displays the rolling 7-day number of households your campaign has reached.

🧠 Pro Tip: Your rolling 7-day Current Reach value may differ from your rolling 7-day Households Reached metric in reporting, as Households Reached may reflect both households and devices reached. Please refer to our glossary.

Total Reach Available

Total Available Audience is based on your campaign's audience viewership over the past 7 days. MNTN calculates the Total Available Reach by totaling all the addressable IP addresses in your selected campaign audience that MNTN has seen over the last 7 days.

This rules out users we never could reach because they are not watching television on our current 150+ Living Room Quality Networks.

🧠 Pro Tip: Your total audience size in the audience builder will differ from your total reach available because not everyone in your target audience watches television on our current 150+ Living Room Quality Networks.

Impact of Campaign Adjustments on Audience Reach

Live Campaigns

Audience Adjustments

Total Audience Reach and Current Reach Metrics are updated every 24 hours. If you'd like to adjust your current audience or replace it with a new audience, your changes will be reflected in the Audience Reach and Current Reach the following day.

Budget Adjustments

If you want to increase your budget on a live campaign to reach more households in your audience, go to your campaign's Budget & Goal section. From there, you'll notice the Available Reach widget again for easy reference. To change your budget, input your desired budget and select Save.

Once your budget has been inputted, please allow 24 hours for your budget changes to be factored into the Current Reach and Total Reach Available calculations.

Recently Launched Campaigns

If you recently launched your campaign on MNTN, your Current Reach and Total Reach Available Metrics will reflect your campaign's trajectory in real time.

Since these metrics are not projected, if your campaign was launched less than 24 hours ago, you will notice Current Reach and Total Reach Available values will appear as 0.

Until your campaign has been live for 7 days, Current Reach will display all users your campaign has reached thus far. This means on day 3 of your recently launched campaign, the current reach value will reflect 3-days of reach. You can expect these values to increase until you hit the 7-day mark.

Paused or Inactive Campaigns

For campaigns paused for less than thirty days, Current Reach will continue to decline until your campaign hits the thirtieth day of being paused. The Total Reach Available will continue to populate as that is gleaned from your appended audience.

For campaigns paused for more than thirty days, Current Reach will be zero. If you resume a paused campaign, your current reach will remain zero until one day after your campaign is re-launched. The Total Reach Available will continue to populate as that is gleaned from your appended audience.
