Executive Ads let your teammates see your TV commercials while streaming their favorite shows at home. Simply opt a user in, and they’ll be eligible to see your ad on MNTN’s premium networks.
Here's what you need to know about this feature and how it benefits you:
What Are Executive Ads?
Executive Ads are designed to give your team a firsthand look at their work. With Executive Ads, all MNTN Prospecting campaigns are automatically set up to serve commercials to your team members and executives if eligible. This feature is provided at no additional cost, and MNTN won’t include actions taken after your teammates view Executive Ads, such as site visits or conversions, in performance reports.
There are three ways you can opt into Executive Ads:
By logging into your MNTN account
By clicking on a creative or reporting link sent from your MNTN account
By accepting an invitation to receive Executive Ads while at home
💡Important Notes:
Executive Ads are only available for Prospecting campaigns.
Not all team members who are eligible for Executive Ads will receive them based on household availability on streaming TV
How Executive Ads Work
Identification: MNTN identifies the hashed IP addresses of users eligible for Executive Ads.
Anonymization: These IP addresses are anonymized to maintain user privacy.
Audience Targeting: The anonymized users are automatically added to your Prospecting campaign’s audience.
Ad Serving: These users become eligible to receive your MNTN ads at no cost.
No Attribution: MNTN does not apply attribution credits for any actions taken by a household that receives Executive Ads.
Managing Executive Ads
The MNTN Portfolio Admin can manage Executive Ads settings within the Executive Ads Dashboard. To navigate to the dashboard, follow the steps below:
✅ Select your account in the upper right-hand corner of the MNTN UI and choose the My Account drop-down.
✅ In the My Admin toolbar, select the section labeled Executive Ads.
💡 Important Note: This view manages users who have been invited to receive Executive Ads through the Executive Ads dashboard. If you or your teammate is eligible for Executive Ads through the other two methods, logging into your account or clicking on an MNTN link, your information will not appear in this list.
Inviting users
Account admins can invite new users to receive executive ads by adding a single user or uploading a bulk user list into the dashboard. Once invited, users will receive an email invitation where they can opt into receiving executive ads while at home.
New User Type | Instructions | Formatting |
Single User |
| First Name, Last Name, and Email address input into the form fields |
Bulk User Upload |
| All files must be .csv
All files must contain 2 columns
|
Important Note: Users should only accept the invitation when they are home, or where they watch streaming TV.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to pay for Executive Ads?
No, Executive Ads are provided as added value and come at no extra cost.
How often will I see my Executive Ads?
While we don't have an exact estimate for how often your Executive Ads will be served, seeing your ads at a higher frequency than your account averages is normal. Seeing your Executive ads at a higher cadence can occur since Executive Ads are served to a small, specific audience (your team and those interacting with your MNTN links). Because the audience is limited, the frequency of ads may be higher compared to broader audience campaigns.
Can I limit the frequency of Executive Ads?
Currently, there is no option to limit the frequency of Executive Ads. If this is a concern, please contact your MNTN support team for further assistance or to discuss alternative solutions.
