We're often integrated with our affiliates by S2S integration (Server to Server) Postback.
A postback is the information exchange between two servers when a conversion event happens. From the server of the advertiser or affiliate network to the server of the publisher.
It's used to send information which will be then tracked by the receiving party.
It can be used to send the conversions and all the information connected to it to the Publisher's own server or the tracking platform they use.
In case you want to use Mobidea's Tracking tool plus Voluum, AdsBridge or ThriveTracker, you can use the domain of your account there and all the tracking is gonna be done automatically between Mobidea and that specific tracking solution.
You can set two types of postback.
Global Postback
The Global Postback you'll set will be applied to all the Offers and Smartlinks you run.
Just click on the configuration wheel button on the top right corner of your Mobidea account and then select "Global Postback".
There, you'll be able to choose either a Custom postback or one of our templates for the most well-known trackers.
Insert your domain with the correct tokens (if you're using a Custom postback) and that's it!
Postback for each Offer/Smartlink
You can set a different Postback for each Offer or Smartlink you're running.
In this case, you need to go to the "Offers" page.
Then, go to the "Advanced" tab, turn the switch ON for Postback URL, and follow the same steps explained above for the Global Postback.
Using a Smartlink?
Then you have to enter the "Smart Tools" section, and choose your Smartlink.
Now, click on the little "Edit" pencil and turn the Postback URL ON!
You're good to go!
Don't forget that the postbacks that are set for the Single Offers/Smartlinks will overwrite the Global Postback.
How do I implement my Postback URL?
There's a bunch of different ways!
They're all super easy to grasp!
In case you wanna use one for all your links, access your account, select “Account” on the left side menu, and then click on “Global Postback”, the bottom option that'll appear.
After that - if you're using Voluum, AdsBridge or Thrive - you just have to insert your domain or path.
In case you're using any other platform, just make sure your tokens match the ones provided by Mobidea so that you can easily check directly below your insert space.
If you wanna have different ones for each link, just select the Smartlink or Offer links, go to advanced features, and set the “Postback URL.”
Then it's exactly the same as if you were setting the Global Postback.
Attention: remember that this will overwrite the Global Postback!
