To activate the FACTS roster sync, you'll need to generate an API key within your FACTS SIS:

Login to FACTS

First, you'll need to ensure that you have the "Use" permission for the API Configuration security item in FACTS Security Groups

Open the menu in the top left corner

Click Security

Click Groups

Click SHIELD icon next to Administrator

Once that page is loaded, go to search bar at the top and type API

Once API Configuration comes up, be sure that “USE” is clicked blue

Log out of FACTS system completely

Log back in using login credentials

Click the menu button on the top left

Click on System

Click on Configuration

If it doesn’t automatically show on the left side list, click the middle blue button that says “Open configuration menu”

At the top of the list you should see API Configuration - click that button

Click API Keys at the top left

Click ADD KEY (blue button)

Enter the MobileServe Subscription Key: a931e52022d942fca525ed1b9088ad0d

Name the API Key "MobileServe Sync" or something similar.

Under "Scopes" (school specific, not district-wide), select "write" under "People."

Click Generate

--

Once the API key has been generated, navigate to your MobileServe Admin Dashboard -> Settings -> Integrations -> FACTS. Once on that page, click "Activate" -> then paste in your API key.

Once you have entered the API key into MobileServe, you'll then need to match the corresponding graduation years to your sub-orgs. You can then click the "Sync Results" tab -> "Run Sync" to kick off a manual sync. NOTE: if the "Notify..." box is checked in your sync settings, students will receive the invite email prompting them to claim their accounts. If that box is unchecked, accounts will be created and you can roll out to students at a later time.
