There is a system setting on Mac computers that affects spacing and can cause random periods to appear in your dictations. Here are the steps to fix this right up!
Open “System Preferences” by clicking on the Apple button in the top-left corner of your computer, and then select “System Preferences”.
Now, select “Keyboard”.
Finally, select “Text” from the top menu option and make sure “Add Period with double-space” does not have a checkbox.
