Supported features

  • Service Provider (SP)-Initiated Authentication (SSO) Flow

  • Automatic creation of user accounts for Mobius Conveyor when Single Sign-On is initiated by your Okta users

  • Note: Mobius Conveyor's integration with Okta leverages Okta only for authentication. Dictation licenses can be optionally assigned upon login. Deactivation of licenses is performed by a designated administrator within the Mobius Conveyor iOS application or by messaging your account manager.

Requirements

  1. Request an Okta integration via your Mobius Account Manager

  2. Install the Mobius Conveyor application in your Okta instance

  3. The Okta Single Sign-On integration is only available for Practices on Enterprise plans

  4. Ensure that your users' email addresses are all issued on your company's domain

  5. Complete the steps below

Configuration steps

To install the application in your Okta instance, search for Mobius Conveyor by browsing the Okta App Catalog. To access the Okta App Catalog, navigate in your Okta instance to the Applications menu, and then select the Application sub-menu. Now select Browse App Catalog.

After installing the application in your Okta instance (via the Okta Application Integration Network), you need to obtain information to provide Mobius MD.

Gather information from Okta

  1. In the Okta admin page, click on the Mobius Conveyor application and then navigate to the Sign On tab

  2. Copy the values of Client ID and Client secret (click the eye button to toggle the visibility)

  3. There should be a section that contains a link titled OpenID Provider Metadata. Click this link. In the JSON document shown, look for a key titled “issuer” and copy the URL value. This field may not be present for some users.

Send the information to Mobius MD

Once you have all the information (summarized below), please email it to your Mobius Conveyor account manager.

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

  • Issuer URL, if present

Mobius MD support will handle your request and get back to you once the integration is configured.

Assign People or Groups

To give people or groups access to Mobius Conveyor, click the Assignments tab under the configured Mobius Conveyor app in your Okta instance, then click Assign.

Leveraging Groups is recommended to assign access. If assigning access to People, ensure the User Name is a valid email.

Assigned users (via group or directly) will now be able to log into Mobius Conveyor via SSO by downloading the application from the iOS App Store and selecting "Sign in with Enterprise" after opening the app.

Logging in to Mobius Conveyor using SSO

  • Open Mobius Conveyor on your iOS device

  • Tap "Sign in With Enterprise"

  • Type your enterprise e-mail address and tap Continue

  • Follow the prompts to sign in with your existing enterprise credentials
