Supported features

  • Single Sign-On (OpenID Connect) initiated via Okta

  • Automatic creation of user accounts for Mobius Conveyor when Single Sign-On is initiated by your Okta users

  • Note: Mobius Conveyor's integration with Okta leverages Okta only for authentication. Dictation licenses can be optionally assigned upon login. Deactivation of licenses is performed by a designated administrator within the Mobius Conveyor iOS application or by messaging your account manager.

Requirements

  1. Request an Okta integration via your Mobius Account Manager

  2. The Okta Single Sign-On integration is only available for Practices on Mobius Conveyor's Enterprise plans

  3. Your users must have e-mail addresses at your company's domain

  4. Complete the steps below

Adding the Mobius Conveyor Application to your Okta Dashboard

Access your Okta Dashboard to complete the following steps:

  1. Select "Applications" from the menu on the left side of the Okta Dashboard.

  2. Select "Create App Integration" and specify the following options:

    1. Sign-in method: "OIDC - OpenID Connect"

    2. Application Type: "Web Application"

  3. Select "Next" and on the following page, add the following details:

    1. App Integration Name: "Mobius Conveyor"

    2. Grant Type: Select "Authorization Code" only

    3. Sign-in redirect URIs: enter the following 2 URIs:

    4. Sign-out redirect URIs: remove any automatically-added URIs. This section should have no entries.

    5. Assignments / Controlled Access: Select the value appropriate for your organization's needs.

  4. Save using the button at the bottom of the page.

Gather information from Okta

  1. In the newly-added Mobius Conveyor Application page within your Okta Dashboard, navigate to the General tab.

  2. Copy the values of Client ID and Client secret (click the eye button to toggle the visibility).

  3. Navigate to the Sign On tab. Under the section titled OpenID Connect ID Token, there should be an entry titled "Issuer." If a value for "Issuer" is present and is not "Dynamic," copy the URL. This field may not be present for some users.

Send the information to Mobius MD

Once you have all the information (summarized below), please email it to your Mobius Conveyor account manager.

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

  • Issuer URL, if present

Mobius MD support will handle your request and get back to you once the integration is configured.

Assign People or Groups

To give people or groups access to Mobius Conveyor, click the Assignments tab under the configured Mobius Conveyor app in your Okta instance, then click Assign.

Leveraging Groups is recommended to assign access. If assigning access to People, ensure the User Name is a valid email.

Assigned users (via group or directly) will now be able to log into Mobius Conveyor via SSO by downloading the application from the iOS App Store and selecting "Sign in with Enterprise" after opening the app.
