If you encounter a problem unlocking a MOBY Pedal bike (yellow), first, you check if the blue light in the lock is ON. If the light is red, it means the lock is offline and it won't work. If the light is OFF, move the bike a little to wake it, you will hear a beeping noise and you should then see the blue light.
When you are sure the blue light is ON follow these instructions:
The lock is not closing: when the lock is not closing, click ‘Unlock Bike’ in the App, and when you hear the noise of the lock try to lock it again. Sometimes, the lock is stuck and when you send the command to unlock it, it works again.
The lock is not opening: when the lock is not opening, please click ‘Unlock bike’ in the App, and when you hear the noise of the lock, pull it. Sometimes, the lock is stuck and when you send the command to unlock it, it works again
The lock is closed but the App is saying it is open: if you receive a message in the app saying "The lock is not closed", please click ‘Unlock Bike’ in the app, and after you hear a noise, try to lock it again. Sometimes, the lock is stuck and when you send the command to unlock it, it works again. Close it again and try to end your trip in the App. Or check if the blue light is on (in the lock), gently force the lock in, and try to finish your ride again.
In case the app does not work, please close your app, and wait for 15 seconds. Reopen the app and try the whole process again.
