How do I pause my ride?

You must end your ride via the app to stop getting charged for the ride. For information on how to end your ride, refer to How do I end my ride?

If you’re planning to step away from your vehicle (e.g. running an errand), you can pause your ride to ensure that no one else can use the vehicle. We always recommend locking your vehicle when you pause the ride and/or step away from the vehicle. Only you'll be able to unlock the vehicle when you return using the app.

When a ride is paused, you’ll continue to get charged. The price for a pause is displayed to you when you tap on the “Pause” button during a trip

Pausing your ride

  1. Open the Moby Move app

  2. Click on Pause in the app and make sure you lock and fasten the vehicle to a stand.

  3. To resume your ride, tap Resume in the app to start riding again and click unlock to scan the QR code which will unlock the vehicle again for resuming your ride.

In case of the lock or the App does not open, please close your App, and wait for 15 seconds. Reopen the app and try the whole process again, before contacting us. Sometimes, it is only an updating problem.
