WHERE:
Please return the bike to the eHub charge station where you initially picked it up and charge it for the next user.
To park ebike and ecargobike:
Place the ebike's kickstand on the yellow pad located on the charging tile. The tile light will turn blue when the bike is charging.
Use the combination lock to secure the bike to the ‘Sheffield’ stand next to the charging tile. For ecargobike, close the rear wheel lock manually, as well.
When the ebike or ecargobike is parked and locked correctly, press the “END RENT” button in the eHubs app to engage the electronic lock.
Take a photo clearly showing the ebike or ecargobike as locked, then submit it through the app. The ride will end automatically, followed by a beep sound from the bike. You will receive a pop-up confirmation that the bike was successfully returned.
In case of the lock or the app does not open, please close your app, and wait for 15 seconds. Reopen the app and try the whole process again, before contacting us. Sometimes, it is only an updating problem.
The customer MUST be next to the bike during the entire process. Before stepping away from the bike, make sure that you have received the end confirmation message and that you do not have any rentals running.
IMPORTANT:
Failure to end your ride at the eHub charge station and submit a valid photo (showing the bike locked at the eHub at the end of your ride will be subject to a €30 fine).
Parking the bike at a pole, fence, railing or on private property will be subject to a €30 parking fine.
Failure to submit a valid photo confirming the bike has been returned and locked at the eHub will be subject to a €30 parking fine. A valid photo is one which clearly and evidently shows the bike as locked to the bike stand. The lock must be visible.
