Verified third level students can benefit from a 65% discount on standard PAYG pricing, helping make cycling a realistic option for everyday journeys.

How It Works
To apply, you must already have an active MOBY Move account and be enrolled in the current academic year at one of the following Dublin institutions:
University College Dublin (UCD)
Trinity College Dublin (TCD)
Dublin City University (DCU)
Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin)
Dublin Business School (DBS)
National College of Ireland
Griffith College Dublin
City Colleges Dublin
Dorset College
Complete the verification form to confirm your student status.
Approval typically takes 1 to 3 working days. IDs that do not pass our automated checks will require manual review and may take longer.
If approved, your account will be placed in the Student Discount group and your discounted rate will apply automatically. No promo codes are needed and there is no need to activate anything before riding. Simply unlock and ride as normal.
If the photo of your ID is not clearly legible, your application may be rejected.
Eligibility
To qualify, you must:
Be currently enrolled in one of the above third level institutions
Hold a valid student ID
Submit verification through the Student Discount form above
Your ID must clearly show:
Your name
Your institution
The current academic year
Period of Validity
The Student Mobility Discount for the 2025 to 2026 academic year is valid until June 1st 2026.
The programme will reopen for the 2026 to 2027 academic year from September 1st 2026.
You will need to reapply each academic year to continue receiving discounted access.
Important Information
The Student Mobility Discount applies to standard ride pricing only.
It does not combine with ride passes, subscriptions or promotional offers.
