A finished episode can be reopened up to 5 times per UTC day. If Mochi shows the daily-limit message, repeated taps will not remove it.
Close without changes
In the October 9 update, reopening and then using Close · no changes without editing returns that same-day reopening allowance. This is a reopening allowance, not a Gem refund. Re-rendering, restitching or finishing again is not an untouched close and can still count.
When does it reset?
The daily counter resets at 00:00 UTC, which may be a different time in your local time zone. Follow the message for the affected episode. Do not delete the episode or purchase a render to bypass the limit.
If you still cannot continue
Tell us the series, episode and exact message in your current support conversation, plus what you need to correct. The approximate time and time zone help if the limit persisted across a reset; screenshots are optional. If you already tried a suggested step, say so rather than repeating it. The team can review the episode state; an immediate reset or exception is not guaranteed.
