Audio-sync mismatch fixed — September 26, 2026

The previously reported audio-sync mismatch issue has been fixed. This does not confirm that every older episode or any new audio report has been repaired. You can replay the affected episode to check its playback. The earlier notice asking everyone to wait for this incident to be fixed no longer applies.

If you still hear a problem

Please tell Mochi Support if audio is still out of sync, missing or distorted, dialogue is skipped, or a different scene or character is speaking. A new or continuing problem still deserves a review.

In your support conversation, share the series title, affected episode number and what sounds wrong. A scene number or approximate timestamp is helpful; screenshots are optional. Mention if individual scene previews sound correct but the full episode does not. If you already sent these details, you do not need to repeat them or open another ticket.

If the problem persists, ask the team to review it before spending Gems on more renders. Keep your existing account and app data; reinstalling or resetting your series is not a recommended audio fix. If you are not already in a support conversation, open Profile → Support in Mochi.

Bug updates and the creator community

Join the Mochi TV Discord for the latest posted bug and issue updates, rendering tips, creator discussions and general community questions. Joining is optional. We can keep helping with your individual issue in your existing support conversation.

Keep receipts, account details and payment information in private support rather than public community channels.

Gems used during the issue

If you want a Gem charge or refund reviewed, tell us what it was for and what went wrong. If you already explained this, we will use those details. Gem returns, refunds and goodwill grants require a team member or support lead to review and approve them. An audio fix does not automatically approve or complete a refund.

No background music after the October 9 update

Newly finished episodes now use music only when you choose it. If you did not add a Sound pack, choose a score or ask Coach for music, dialogue without a background track can be expected. For an episode you are finishing, ask Coach to Add music or use the available Score options; check any displayed Gem quote before choosing a paid composition.

A missing background track is different from missing speech, distortion, the wrong voice or lip-sync mismatch. Tell us which sound is missing. Choosing music does not repair a broken dialogue track, and existing finished episodes are not silently changed by this setting.

Wrong spoken language

The updated app lets you set dialogue language under Edit series or by asking Coach for the language you want. Already rendered scenes keep their current audio. If a clip ignores the selected language, send the affected scene and expected language for review rather than repeatedly paying for another attempt.
