How creator leaderboards and weekly Gem rewards work

Understand Gems already earned this week, claimable weekly prizes, live payout bands and missing rewards.

This guide covers weekly creator leaderboard rewards. Community-character casting has its own reward: the original creator can receive 3 Gems automatically for an eligible paid cast into another user’s series. Eligibility and daily limits apply; not every paid cast earns a reward. It is not paid for each scene or episode. See How community character Gem rewards work.

The separate community-casting quest rewards the user doing the casting; it is not the character owner’s 3-Gem payment.

Open the leaderboard from Community in Mochi to see the Creators and Series boards.

What content is eligible for the leaderboard?

Sexual or sexually suggestive content is not eligible to participate in Mochi leaderboards or receive leaderboard rewards. Being published or appearing on a live leaderboard does not confirm eligibility. A mature theme, content warning, or purchased pack does not override this rule.

Review the Content Guidelines. For a question about a specific series or eligibility decision, share your Mochi username, series link, and any notice you received in your existing private support conversation. The team can review the specific content and decision.

What does “Earned this week” mean?

It shows Gems already earned and credited that week—not Gems you will earn later. The counter starts on Monday at 00:00 UTC. It records reward credits received during the week, such as claimed quests, milestones, leaderboard prizes and eligible community-asset earnings. Purchased Gems are separate.

This is an earnings total, not your current spendable balance or a second payment due. For example, if you receive 100 Gems and then spend 30, “Earned this week” can still show 100; that activity adds 70 Gems to your remaining balance. You will not receive the same 100 again when the week ends. Resetting the weekly counter does not remove your wallet Gems.

A prize from an earlier week that you claim this week can count toward this week’s earned total.

Earned total, payout band, or claimable prize?

  • Earned this week: reward Gems already credited during the current week.

  • Current rank or payout band: the prize associated with a rank. It is not confirmation that this amount has been earned or paid.

  • Creator Quests → Weekly payout → Claim: a settled prize already earned for a completed leaderboard week and waiting to be claimed. It is not a forecast for a future week and may include prizes from several unclaimed weeks.

What determines the rankings?

Creators rank by views across their eligible published community series. The updated view rule counts at most one view from the same viewer for the same episode per UTC day; repeat plays that day do not keep increasing it. A creator’s own views do not count. Watching different episodes can count separately. The follower count beside a creator is profile information; it does not determine this ranking. The Series board ranks published community series by recent views.

Why can my live rank differ from my reward?

The live boards use a rolling seven-day view. Weekly creator rewards are settled separately for a completed calendar week, with the next week beginning Monday at 00:00 UTC. A live position is not confirmation of a settled reward. The weekly claim is based on the creator ranking; the Series board is a discovery view.

Where do I claim Gems?

When a completed week produces a reward for you, claim it from Creator Quests. Unclaimed settled rewards remain available. Check the reward panel in the app for the applicable bands.

As checked on September 26, 2026, the weekly creator bands are: #1: 1,000 Gems; #2: 600; #3: 400; #4–5: 250 each; #6–10: 120 each; #11–25: 40 each. Program details can change.

A reward appears to be missing

In your existing support conversation, tell us which week is affected and where the amount appears: Earned this week, a payout band, or a Claim reward in Creator Quests. If you already shared this, there is no need to repeat it.

If you tapped Claim but the Gems did not appear, tell us what happened: an error, no response, or a claimed reward without the expected wallet credit. A screenshot is helpful but optional; a written description is enough. If you have not started a conversation, open Profile → Support.

“Earned this week” by itself is not a separate unpaid reward. But if a claim or credited reward appears wrong, the team can review it; you do not need to earn it again or wait for another week as a blanket fix.

The team can review a missing claim. Fin cannot verify an individual reward, approve a Gem adjustment or promise when it will arrive. Only a team member or the support lead can approve Gem returns or goodwill grants.

See the Creator Rewards guide for more detail. The Mochi Discord is optional for community events, creator feedback and posted updates; keep individual account and reward details in private support.
