You can earn 3 Gems for an eligible paid cast of your published community character into another creator’s series. A cast does not always qualify for a creator reward.
What triggers the reward?
A paid community-character cast currently costs the caster 8 Gems. For an eligible cast, the original creator receives 3 Gems automatically. The reward is per character and destination series, not per scene, render, episode or view. Reusing the character within the same series does not create another casting reward.
Which casts qualify?
The caster must be signed in and either have a purchase history or have an account at least 24 hours old.
Self-casts, guest casts and same-device self-use do not earn creator Gems.
Up to 3 eligible casts from the same caster to the same creator per UTC day can earn rewards.
A creator can earn up to 90 casting Gems per UTC day.
A character can be added successfully even when its creator reward is withheld. A missing reward alone does not establish why. Earlier withheld casts are not guaranteed to pay later, and you should not purchase or recast just to trigger a reward.
Example
An eligible signed-in creator pays to add your character to Series A while both daily limits are still available. You receive 3 Gems. Using that character in five scenes of Series A does not produce five additional rewards.
Do I need to claim it?
No. Eligible character-owner earnings go into your Gem balance automatically. They do not need to be claimed from Creator Quests or the weekly leaderboard.
Keep these rewards separate
Character-owner earnings: the eligible casting payment described above.
The caster’s community-casting quest: a separate reward with its own requirement and Claim button. Check Creator Quests for the current offer.
Creator leaderboards: a separate program based on eligible series views and weekly rankings. Its content eligibility rules still apply.
If an expected reward is missing
In your existing support conversation, send the character’s name and the destination series, if known. The other creator’s Mochi username or approximate time is helpful but optional. The team can check the cast and credit; Fin cannot decide your individual eligibility or promise an adjustment. Only a team member or support lead can approve a correction.
