How Each Bundle Type Handles Markets
Bundle Type | How Pricing Converts |
Mix & Match | Fixed bundle price converts automatically to local currency |
Pack Builder | Pack tier prices convert automatically (fixed price mode) or percentage applies to converted product prices |
Collection Bundle | Discount applies to already-converted product prices |
All discount types (no discount, percentage, fixed amount, fixed price) work across all markets.
How It Works
Customer visits your store from a supported market
Shopify converts product prices to local currency using your Markets settings
Bundle discounts apply to the converted prices
Customer sees everything in their local currency at checkout
Fixed Price discount type tends to work best internationally — one clear price that converts cleanly, no calculation surprises.
Setting Up
Verify Bundle Products Are Available
Bundle products are regular Shopify products, so:
Ensure the bundle product is published to each target market
Check that all component products are also available in those markets
Set market-specific price adjustments if needed (Settings → Markets → Products and pricing)
Customizing Per-Market Prices
For your major markets, consider setting specific prices rather than relying on conversion:
Go to Settings → Markets in Shopify admin
Select a market
Find your bundle product and set a custom price
This gives you clean, marketable numbers (e.g., £79 instead of £78.43).
Limitations
Draft Orders — Cannot create international bundle orders via draft orders
Component availability — If a product in your bundle isn't available in a market, the bundle may not work correctly in that market
Troubleshooting
Prices not converting — Verify Markets is enabled for the customer's country; check bundle product is published to that market
Wrong currency — Check Markets geolocation settings; test with Shopify's market preview tool
Discount amount looks wrong — Rounding rules may affect display; recalculate manually to verify
