As you may already know, ModelCentro doesn’t have a built-in newsletter tool, but you can easily use a third-party service for email marketing. Let’s take a look at one of the most popular services: SendGrid.
SendGrid allows you to create a free account and send 40,000 emails for the first 30 days, and 100/day as long as you have your account.
Let's say you want to create a unique mass-mailer with a link to the hidden discounted join option for a limited time (this link can be requested through our support team). We can help with Campaign creation. First, you will need to create an account on sendgrid.com. Then follow these steps:
Choose Marketing > Single Sends > Create a Single Send;
2. Choose a custom template (email design), or a ready-made one:
3. Choose Design editor, which has an easy-to-use drag-and-drop system, with WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) functionality, and no code required.
4. There you will be able to drag and drop needed widgets, such as images, text, etc. (Please keep in mind that it would be better to use non-nude content). Hover your mouse over the text or image to delete, copy or edit it.
5. In your ModelCentro account proceed to the Fans list and choose which group of fans will receive your email. Click on Export CSV > Generate CSV > Download.
6. In the SendGrid mailer design, open the Settings tab, find RECIPIENTS and click Upload contacts > Add contacts.
Drag and drop the CSV file here (as shown on the image), and click Next: Review CSV Upload
7. Check your Map Fields and click Add contact > Done. Get back to your mailer Design, the list should be there. Click on the Review Details and Send:
Check how your email looks on different devices, and send a test email. Edit the subject, and category, schedule your email, etc.
Please make sure your email address is verified by Sendgrid.
If the test is successful, you're ready to launch your mailer. Save everything and click on the Send button.
You'll then be able to check the results after.
