Educators who complete our Virtual Mentorship Program are eligible for all of the credentials below:

Graduate Credits from Colorado State University (CSU) Pueblo

For a fee of $80 per credit, educators may request:

  • Three non-degree credits ($240), which count towards pay increases in many districts, but do not count towards graduate degrees.

See the full course syllabus for more information.

FAQs:

  • How do I request these credits after I complete the Mentorship Program? Educators who complete the Mentorship Program will be able to request CSU Pueblo credits through our course platform. Once you submit the form and remit payment to Modern Classrooms Project, you will receive instructions via email on how to set up your CSU Pueblo account to register with CSU Pueblo. Modern Classrooms Project will submit your grade directly to CSU Pueblo, CSU Pueblo will process your request, and you will be able to request a transcript directly from them.

  • Credits from CSU Pueblo are semester-based credits.

  • Your non-degree credit transcript will reflect a pass/fail score (i.e., "Satisfactory").

  • How long does it take for my request to be processed? Once you've completed the Mentorship Program and submitted the request form, Modern Classrooms Projects enters grades for requests every two weeks. Once your grade is submitted, CSU Pueblo will process your grade which can take 4-6 weeks.

If you have already completed our Virtual Mentorship Program
and would like to obtain CSU Pueblo Graduate Credits, please
complete this registration form to begin the process.

Continuing Education Units from George Mason University

For a fee of $50, educators may receive 4.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from George Mason University. In many states, CEUs are required for teachers to renew their licenses. Upon completion of the Mentorship Program, educators receive a link to purchase CEUs directly from George Mason University.

โ€‹Note that these CEUs do NOT provide college credit.

New York State CTLE Hours

Educators based in New York State who complete the Mentorship Program are eligible to receive 45 Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) hours to maintain teaching licenses and certifications.

Once you complete the Mentorship Program, you can request this certificate by completing the form linked in your course platform.

Once we receive your request, you should receive a PDF indicating your eligibility for NYS CTLE credits within ten business days.

Micro-Credentials from Digital Promise

The Planning for Modern Classroom Instruction micro-credential is free for all educators, whether or not they have completed the Mentorship Program. This competency-based digital certification verifies that an educator can successfully plan a blended, self-paced, mastery-based unit of study. In many states, micro-credentials can also be used for teacher licensing.

Additional Credential Opportunities

We also encourage graduates of our Mentorship Programs to become Distinguished Modern Classroom Educators, who earn additional grad credits (sponsored by MCP), swag, edtech, a digital badge, and more! This is also the pathway for educators to become paid Expert Mentors.

We hope this helps reward our educators for their hard work!
