Educators who complete our Virtual Mentorship Program are eligible for all of the credentials below:
Graduate Credits from CSU Pueblo
For a fee of $80 per credit, educators may choose between:
Two degree-granting credits ($160), which can count towards a Master of Education Degree at CSU Pueblo.
โThree non-degree credits ($240), which count towards pay increases in many districts, but do not count towards graduate degrees.
See the full course syllabus for more information.
If you have already completed our Virtual Mentorship Program
and would like to obtain CSU Pueblo Graduate Credits, please
complete this registration form to begin the process.
If you decide to obtain the degree-granting credits in order to pursue a Master's Degree at CSU Pueblo, please note that:
Educators with existing graduate credits can transfer up to 9 credits from another institution and apply those credits towards the degree. All courses must be approved by the Associated Dean of Teacher Education to apply to the degree.
It may be possible to transfer graduate credits from CSU Pueblo to another institution, but this is not guaranteed. Educators wishing to transfer credits must contact their current institutions for further information regarding transferability.
With additional questions about CSU Pueblo credits, please contact registrar@csupueblo.edu
Continuing Education Units from George Mason University
For a fee of $50, educators may receive 4.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from George Mason University. In many states, CEUs are required for teachers to renew their licenses. Upon completion of the Mentorship Program, educators receive a link to purchase CEUs directly from George Mason University.
โNote that these CEUs do NOT provide college credit.
Micro-Credentials from Digital Promise
The Planning for Modern Classroom Instruction micro-credential is free for all educators, whether or not they have completed the Mentorship Program. This competency-based digital certification verifies that an educator can successfully plan a blended, self-paced, mastery-based unit of study. In many states, micro-credentials can also be used for teacher licensing.
Additional Credential Opportunities
We also encourage graduates of our Mentorship Programs to become Distinguished Modern Classroom Educators, who earn additional grad credits (sponsored by MCP), swag, edtech, a digital badge, and more! This is also the pathway for educators to become paid Expert Mentors.
We hope this helps reward our educators for their hard work!
