Transforming your classroom is daunting enough -- and choosing between a huge variety of ed-tech tools can only make that harder. Fortunately:

  • There are lots of good options that do similar things

  • The tool you choose matters much less than knowing how to use it well

  • You can get started right away with some pretty intuitive tools.

If you're just getting started, here's what we'd recommend.

Learning Management System (LMS)

We recommend that you use whatever LMS your school or district provides -- see our tutorials for several common LMS platforms here.

If your school doesn't have an LMS, a simple Google Site will do. Here's our guide.

Video Recording and Enhancements

You can use any recording program you'd like to create instructional videos. If your school provides a recording program, we recommend you use that!

We use ScreenPal. See our tutorial here. It's easy to use and has a lot of bonus features. Screencastify is also great if you use Google Chrome.

If you join our Virtual Mentorship Program, you'll receive lifetime premium access to multiple video recording platforms.

We also recommend adding subtitles to your videos - we have a few strategies for adding subtitles here!

These platforms all work well, as do countless others. Find something that works for you, and run with it!

You can see the rest of our tutorials for recommended tech tools here.
