Most of the educators who enroll in our Virtual Mentorship Programs are classroom teachers, who design student-facing materials with help from an Expert Mentor.
That said, if you're an administrator or instructional coach, we would love to work with you as well! Here are just a few reasons why:
You know what it takes to make lasting change at the classroom level.
You can take what you learn and lead others in implementing it.
You set a powerful example for your teachers by investing in your own PD.
Many of our Expert Mentors have leadership experience at the school or district level, and we'll be glad to pair you with a mentor who meets your needs. Together with your mentor, you can:
Create staff-facing PD materials, like these exemplar units.
Build blended resources for students, parents, or colleagues.
Model for your teachers what you want instruction to look like.
We also offer a differentiated course experience for administrators and instructional coaches. To ensure the Mentorship Program is relevant for you, we offer a distinct Culminating Submission geared toward your role as leaders and coaches.
One of our mentees, Superintendent Becky Hutchinson of Concord Community Schools, said it best:
"At the completion of the Mentorship Program, I had a better understanding of how I could deliver PD that facilitated educator choice, self-pacing, and any-time learning through mastery-based, blended instruction. As teachers continue to make instructional changes, I know what it takes because I am doing it too."
