Once you’ve been asked to provide the reference contacts via Mojob, you will receive the following notifications:
an email notification containing a link to the Mojob app with the "Provide references" button.
a push notification on your mobile device, if you use the Mojob mobile app and have push notifications enabled.
a respective message in the chat along with a “Provide references” button
Follow the steps below to add and edit reference contacts:
Click the “Provide references” button in the chat of your application.
Read the instructions and then click "+Add reference contact" button
Fill out the form and click Add
You can add more contacts, if the "+Add reference contact" button is available. If a contact was added with incorrect information, remove it by clicking the "Bin" icon next to the reference contact. After adding the contacts, please click the "Submit" button. The contacts will receive a reference survey form via email, which they should complete. The recruiter will also be able to review the reference contacts you have submitted.
The button in the chat will be changed to "Update Reference Contacts." If you entered incorrect information for a contact or if the information has changed, click this button to remove the contact and add a new one with the correct details.
Note: If there is no "Bin" icon next to a reference contact, it means the reference has been completed and can no longer be updated. You will also see a message in the chat when a reference contact has made an update to the reference check request.
