When you are asked to submit your police certificate via Mojob, you will receive the following notifications:
An email notification containing a link to the Mojob app with a “Get police certificate” button.
A push notification on your mobile device, if you are using the Mojob app and have enabled push notifications.
A message in the chat with the “Get police certificate” button.
Follow the steps below to submit your police certificate.
Click the “Get police certificate” button in the chat for your application.
Read the introduction and click “Get started” to continue.
Fill in your personal information on the “Police Certificate” page. It is important to provide accurate details, as this information will be included in the application file that you must submit on the police website.
After clicking the “Create” button, you will see detailed instructions on how to obtain and submit your police certificate. At this stage, there are two possible scenarios.
4.1. Scenario 1: You do not have a valid police certificate and need to request a new one. In this case, click the “purpose confirmation” link to download a pre-filled PDF application file. Then click “Log in here” to open the police website. Log in with your ID, select the correct category as shown in the application file, and upload the PDF application file. Once you receive the certificate from the police, return to your Mojob account, click the “Submit police certificate” button again, and then click “I have done this.”
Check the box “Yes, I have followed the instructions” and upload the certificate you received from the police here. Then click the “Submit police certificate” button — and you’re done. The certificate will then be made available to the recruiter.
Scenario 2: You already have a valid certificate from the police platform. In that case, simply click the “I have done this” button and upload your police certificate.
After uploading the certificate, you will see a button labeled “Upload again.” If you accidentally uploaded the wrong file, or if the recruiter requests a new upload, you can replace the certificate by clicking this button.
The recruitment team can still reject the certificate on their side, update certain details, and ask you to upload a valid document if there was an issue with the previous one. In that case, you will see the “Get police certificate” button again.
Once the recruitment team approves your certificate, the upload and re-upload options will no longer be available, and you will see a message confirming that your certificate has been approved.
