Create schedule templates

Learn how to create fixed and rotation shift templates for future projects.

Written by Tetiana

Before creating your first project, set up your schedule templates to ensure a structured workflow.

Go to Settings → Templates → Schedules and click Add schedule.

You can create two types of schedules:

  • Fixed shifts – Use when employees work the same days and hours each week.

  • Rotation shifts – Use for repeating shift patterns, such as one day on/one day off or weekly rotations.

When creating a schedule:

  • Enter a schedule name.

  • Create a new label or select an existing one. Labels group related schedules together, making them easier to organize within the same project.

  • Choose whether the schedule template should use specific start and end times or be based only on the total number of working hours.

  • Set the break duration (in hours).

  • Define the working days and shift start and end times. When you enable the next working day, the system automatically remembers and applies the time settings from the previously configured day

  • Click Save to create the schedule.

To edit or delete a schedule, click the schedule or open the More actions menu next to its name.

Note: Rotation schedules are configured the same way as fixed schedules, with the addition of a rotating shift pattern.
