You can create assignments from the Dashboard or directly from a project by clicking New assignment.
Choose one of the following assignment types:
Assorted shifts – Create individual shifts that are managed independently. Learn more here.
Rotation pattern – Create recurring assignments based on a rotation schedule.
Rotation Pattern
Complete the assignment details:
Schedule – Select the schedule where the assignments will be created. Each schedule represents a separate line within the project.
Number of talents – Specify how many talents are needed.
Rotation pattern – Select a rotation pattern template from the list. The template determines the recurring work pattern and the days on which shifts will be created.
Assignment period – Select the start and end date for the recurring assignment. The calendar will automatically highlight all shifts that will be created based on the selected rotation pattern.
Shift time – Choose whether to set an exact start and end time or use Total hours only and enter the number of working hours.
Tip: If your rotation contains multiple shifts, you can update the time and break duration for one day and then click Apply time to all days to use the same settings for every shift in the rotation.
Selected Shifts
The shift dates are automatically generated from the selected rotation pattern. They cannot be edited directly in the calendar.
Use the Month and Year selectors to navigate through the calendar.
Add Assignment Details
Description for talents – Add information that will be visible to invited talents, such as instructions or important shift details.
Optional Settings
Enable Create a task to automatically create a task together with the assignment.
Enable Invite talents immediately to automatically invite fully available talents.
If automatic invitations are enabled, you can also:
Set the location proximity to invite talents within a specific distance.
Enable First come, first served to assign assignments to the first eligible talents who accept the invitation.
