Go to the Sourcing page of the job you want to post to Finn.no and toggle on the Finn channel tile. The finn form will open up and most of the fields will be already filled out based on the information added to the Mojob ad. So what you have to do is to review the available information, update it or add more information, if needed.
Required fields are marked with asterics *. If they are empty or filled out incorrectly, you will see the error message after clicking Create Finn ad or Save ad button.
The Finn form is structured into the following logical blocks of information:
Finn Ad Order
This block has the following fields:
Finn partner: this is the id code provided to you by Finn based on your agreement with them. It is selected automatically if you provided this id to Mojob. We set it up into the system. An admin user of the top unit can post finn ads to the correct billing unit by selecting the respective unit in the Job Editor or by selecting the needed partner id from the drop-down in the Finn form. When selecting the needed Unit in Job Editor for a not yet created Finn ad, the corresponding partner id will be auto-selected in the Finn form. Also admin users will be able either to select the needed partner id from the drop-down list or add it manually, if the needed one is missing.
Important: after the finn ad is created, it is not possible to change the partner id.
Duration (active for): this is an informative field which shows in how many days the Finn ad expires and should not be updated. Maximum duration of the Finn ad is + 41 days from the day of Finn ad creation.
Advertisement type: select the needed type from the drop-down list
Invoice reference: it shows company name by default, but you can change it to your needs
About Company
Logo: the logo image from Branding page is displayed here by default. Navigate over the logo image and replace the image either from your PC or from the Gallery.
Company: company display name from Branding page is shown here by default.
Industry: select an industry from the drop-down list. Maximum 3 industries can be selected.
Social media fields (Website, Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter): it is important to add the correct link here. When you start typing you will see the example of the correct link format.
About the Position
Position type: select the needed type from the drop-down list
No of positions: type the number of positions you need to hire
Job function: select the needed function from the list. You can select maximum 3 functions
Due date: this is the due date selected in the Mojob ad. Changing the due date in the Job Editor page will auto-update the due date in the Finn form. Please note that if you select the “Open application” in the Job Editor and if the finn ad is not yet created, then the due date field in the Finn form will be empty. You will need to select the due date manually in such cases.
Sector: select the needed one from the drop-down list or leave the default one.
Position title: leave the default one or update it as you need.
Short headline: leave the default one or update it as you need.
Job description: check and update information there.
Images: cover image is shown here by default. You can add more images and describe each image. You can also replace cover image here. But it will replace image for Finn ad only.
Video Link: add youtube or vimeo video link here.
Keywords: you can add maximum 5 keywords.
Contact Information
Fill out the contact information fields here. You can add maximum 2 contacts.
Workplace
Address is taken from the job ad. You can update it here as you need.
Posting a Finn ad to Finn.no
Once all fields are filled in click "Create Finn ad" button. Finn ad is not yet posted to Finn.no. You still need to click eithe Submit changes or change job status to "Live: start receiving applicants". Only then the finn ad is posted. You will see an "Eye" icon on the Finn channel tile which means that the Finn ad is successfully posted to Finn.no.
You can update Finn ad any time you need by clicking the "Screw" icon on the Finn channel tile. After the Finn form update it is necessary to click "Submit changes" button in the top right corner of the job to activate changes. It might take about 5 minutes until changes are visisble on Finn.no.
Connection between Finn and Mojob ads
Finn and Mojob ads will remain connected until the Finn ad expires. It means that changing the Mojob ad status from Live: Open for applicants to Stop receiving applicants will not disconnect Finn ad from Mojob ad. The Finn ad will still be linked to the Mojob ad, but it will be inactive for applications. If you change back the job status to Live, the Finn ad will become active again for applications. You can preview the finn ad any time by clicking on the “Eye” icon.
Important: if you see the “Eye” icon on the finn card, it means that the finn ad is connected to the Mojob ad and can be open for applications until it expires. The connected finn ad will have the “Save” button at the bottom of the Finn form. Once the finn ad expires, it will be automatically disconnected from the Mojob ad and you will see “Create new Finn ad” button at the bottom of the Finn form.
Finn ad statuses:
Finn ad might have one of the following statuses:
Ready to be published: the Finn form is filled out and ready to be posted, but not yet active.
Active (expires in X days) if the job is Live and open for applications.
Inactive (expires in X days) if the finn ad is toggled off or the job status is changed to Stop receiving applicants. Finn ad becomes Inaktiv and will be closed for applicants.
