Learn how to set up reference check through Mojob

Reference check is aimed at getting more information about an applicant through Mojob in an easy, efficient and structured way. You can set it up in any state of the job. By default reference check setup includes 3 reference contacts which should be provided by applicants within 3 days. You can update this information by setting the numbers you need.

Then you will see 13 default reference questions on the left and 10 suggested questions on the right. It is possible to edit/remove default questions, you can add your own question of any type with your set of answers.

When an applicant is moved to the state with reference check request, an email request to provide reference contacts is sent to the applicant. Once the applicant submits the contact information, the email is sent to the just added contact email addresses. After the reference contact submits the response through the reference form, you can check it in the chat of your Mojob account in the Reference report.

You can also manually add reference contact as well as add answers to the reference form. This may be helpful if you receive answers from reference contacts directly via phone or in any other way.
