Do I need clearance from my healthcare provider to start?

Quick answer: The App Terms ask you to consult your healthcare professional before using MOMDAY. The onboarding question only changes which program you receive: if you answer Not yet, you get a gradual, progressive program that starts with the basics, such as breathing exercises.

How your answer is used

During postpartum onboarding, MOMDAY asks: Have you been cleared for exercise by your healthcare professional?

Your answer changes the program you receive. If you answer Not yet, you still get a program; it is gradual and progressive, starting with the basics, such as breathing exercises. Answering Not yet or Yes is not medical clearance. When to start exercising after birth is a question for your doctor or primary healthcare provider.

💡 Tip: You do not need to update your answer once you are cleared. When you complete your current level, the program moves you to the next level automatically.
