I am pleased to introduce you today to the new collections!
We have two big new features to present to you: the Topics and the carousel.
Let's get started!
I/ Let's see first the Topics:
1) To access the Topics section click on admin collection:
2) From there you can now create topics which are folders that will allow you to classify your collections as you wish.
You have the possibility to show or not a topic that has been created and to rearrange the collections that are present in a Topic by drag and drop.
3) to create a new topic just click on "Add a topic"
4) and enter a title and a description. You also have the possibility to upload a header to be able to customize this new topic.
5) Once the topic has been created, you will see it appear on the list on the left.
6) The list of all available collections is on the right.
You can either search for a collection using the corresponding search bar or scroll through the list of collections that are present.
7) From there you can easily drag and drop your collections from the list on the right into the topic you just created.
and that's it, now you can click on save topics to save, you see now your new topic appear on your collection page.
II/ Now let's see the carousel part:
1) click on carousel admin:
2) From there to create a new heading in the carousel click on add heading items
3) you can add a title and a description
4) below, in link type, you can choose either Collections or Topics to highlight one or the other
5) In link to, select the collection or topic you are interested in
6) by clicking in the heading image part on upload you have the possibility to upload an image to illustrate your carousel.
7) once it's done, click on the toggle on the right of the new header that has been created to activate it
8) if you want to delete or edit a header click on the 3 small dots, present on the right.
You can now directly access the collection you have highlighted in the Carousel by clicking on the corresponding header.
