Yes, Monorail has required minimums to use both Portfolio and Stock trading platforms. See below for details:

Portfolio Account

  • $100 minimum in your linked bank account at sign-up

  • $3/month subscription fee (paid from your linked bank account for accounts less than $25K )

  • 0.40% annual management fee (billed quarterly)

  • Subscription is required ( Waived once account equity reaches $25K )

Note: While you can get started right away, our investment management team may wait until your account reaches at least $50 in equity before fully investing your funds.

Stock Trading Account

  • $100 minimum in your linked bank account at sign-up

  • $5 minimum deposit to begin trading

  • Subscription is required ( Waived once account equity reaches $25K )

NOTE: Both Stock trading and Portfolio platforms require you to be subscribed. Once either your stock trading account and/or portfolio accounts reach $25K the subscription fee is waived.
