How Do I Liquidate Funds in My Portfolio?

Learn how to request a liquidation of your portfolio funds in the Monorail app.

To liquidate funds from your portfolio account:

  1. Log in to the Monorail app.

  2. Ensure you have an active subscription. If you do not see the withdrawal feature, go to Menu > Subscriptions and subscribe or re-subscribe.

  3. Navigate to your General Investing or Retirement account.

  4. Scroll down to the Withdraw Funds section.

  5. If you wish to withdraw more than your available cash balance, click the green link labeled "Please request a liquidation."

  6. This will submit a liquidation request directly to our team for processing.

Once the liquidation is complete, log back into the Monorail app on the next business day and withdraw your available funds to your linked bank account.

Important Notes

  • Customers may need to subscribe or re-subscribe to access the withdrawal and liquidation features.

  • Liquidation requests received after market hours will be processed on the next business day.

  • Funds are typically available for withdrawal within 1–2 business days after the liquidation is completed.

  • After you submit your withdrawal request through the Monorail app, it may take an additional 3–5 business days for the funds to arrive in your bank account.

  • Do not unlink your bank account until your funds have been successfully deposited.

  • If funds remain available in your account and we are unable to reach you, Monorail may submit the funds to your linked bank account.

Retirement Accounts

If you have a Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, or SEP IRA, additional processing requirements may apply. If you need assistance, please contact support or request a live agent through the in-app chat.
