There may be several reasons why this happens. One of the most common is software / firmware updates from your charging point's manufacturer. In this instance, you can either:

A: Unpair from Monta and use your charger's app to charge your car and reintegrate once the update is complete.

B: You could wait for the update to complete (this could be anywhere from 30 minutes to a couple of days).

If it's not a software update from your charge point manufacturer, then there is a very good chance the following may help:

Sometimes when you plug the charger into your car a check is done and the charger may then see the check as being "Busy" when it's not. Stopping the charge, rebooting or unlocking the charger should solve this:

Overview

1. Under navigation "Chargers", click on the Setting icon (⚙️)

2. Select "Monta Connection"

3. Scroll down to and click "Reboot charger" and if it does not help, "Force stop charging"

That should bring your charger back to being "Available".

1. Under navigation "Chargers", click on the Setting icon (⚙️)

2. Select "Monta Connection"

3. Scroll down to and click "Reboot charger" and if it does not help, "Force stop charging"

If this fails, sometimes unplugging and replugging your charger and completely closing the app may work. If not, then get in touch and our support team will do their best to get you back online.
