If you have added your charger but have not fully connected it with Monta (your charge point still states "Passive"), it still needs an integration with Monta. Follow the below guide and learn how to integrate your charger with us so you can use Monta to control the charge of your car.

If you have not added your charge point yet, please follow this guide instead to set-up to set up your charger for the first time. This will also take you through the connection process.

Overview

1. Under navigation "Chargers", click on the Setting icon (⚙️)

2. Select "Monta connection"

3. Press on "Add integration"

4. Continue with charge point login

5. Continue with a serial number

2. Select "Monta connection"

3. Press on "Add integration"

After this you will either need to continue the process by entering your charge point's login credentials or by entering your charge point's serial number.

4.a. Log in with your cloud credentials

Charge points such as Easee or Wallbox for example, require you to log in your charge point login credentials at this stage. This is the same login you have for your charge point's app.

Please note we have used Easee cloud login just as an example. If you see a similar login page, please enter your respective charge point login credentials.

4.b. Select your charger model

4.c. Click on "Pair"

4.d. Press on "Retry"

There may be times when you need to "Retry" pairing to Monta. Keep pressing "Retry" until you see the following screen:

And that's it! You've integrated your charger to Monta and from now on you should only use Monta to control the charge of your car.

5. Continue with a serial number

If you see this screen, this means you need to put in your charge point's serial number.

5.a. Insert serial number

5.b. Click on "Check connection"

5.c. Wait for verification

5.d. Perfecto!

Congrats! You are now connected to Monta! 🎉
