1. Prerequisites

a) Employees must have installed their charge point at home address and connected it to Monta successfully.

Please follow step-by-step instructions on how to add, connect, and integrate a charge point to Monta here for more guidance.


b) You as an employer have created a professional team in the Monta App.

If you haven't done it yet, follow the guide here.

2. Employee(s) needs to send a link code to the employer

2.a. Under navigation "Chargers"(1.), find your home charge point and click on "⚙️" (2).

2.b. Scroll down and click on "Transfer Charge Point"

2.c. Now click on "Sponsored Charge Point"

2.d. Now generate a code that you will need to copy and send to the employer.

3. Proceed to Monta Portal

Now that you have completed the Hardware Setup of your charger, you can proceed to the Monta Portal.

4. Access the Team to Which the Sponsored Charge Point is Added

Open Teams section and click on the name of the team to which the sponsored charge point(s) are added.

5. Go to the Teams Section Sponsored

6. Link Charge Point

In the teams Sponsored section team owner or admin(s) can add Sponsored Charge Points.

Click on "Link charge point", add the link code provided by the owner of the charge point and again "Link charge point".

7. Set Reimbursement Price

Once you link charge point to your team you will asked to Set reimbursement price per kWh charged and click on "Start sponsoring".

Now you are sponsoring a charge point outside your team! 🙌
