There are a few things to consider, when connecting your Wallbox' charger.
First, make sure your charge box has a good wifi connection. Once it is connected to wifi, reboot it. Secondly, during pairing the process relies on a stable Bluetooth connection to the phone. So make sure to be close to the charge box during pairing. Even still, it can take some tries, eventually it shall work 😉
1. Add Charge Point
On Monta Portal click on "Add charge point" under Teams section.
2. Add Charge Point Settings
Select Wallbox and the charge point model, put max charging power (this information can be find on the charge point box or should have been provided by the manufacturer in this case Wallbox) and choose supported connector type.
3. Add Charge Point Details
You can add an existing Charge point group or create one for that specific location. If you already have a Charge point group pointing to the location of the charge point it will be added automatically.
4. Connect to Monta
Important! If you choose "Not now" you can connect your charge point to Monta later. Go to Charge Points - find the charge point - Set Integration.
5. Select Brand
6. Select Model
7. Select Integration Method
Important!! Wallbox charge points can be integrated to Monta either using Wallbox Login or OCPP method. We recommend to use Wallbox Login, for which you need the credential you use to access MyWallbox Portal.
8. Enter Login Details
Use your Wallbox login details to log into the Charger's site - this is part of the integration to pair your charger with Monta successfully.
9. Select the Charger
10. Select "Yes, pair charge point"
Here we verify your connection to Monta. Please wait until the loading bar reaches 100%
Press on "Retry"
There may be times when you need to "Retry" pairing to Monta. Keep pressing "Retry" until you see the next step.
12. Perfecto! You are now connected to Monta!
Congrats! 🤗 You have now successfully installed your charging point to Monta.
13. Failed verification
If Wallbox fails verification, this is either because the box does not have a good internet connection, or because it lacks a stable Bluetooth connection between the phone and the box.
So make sure that when you set up wifi settings on the box (it has to be restarted afterward). The best way to this is from the Wallbox app: Go to Settings > Advanced Options > Reboot.
After making sure the box has a stable internet connection, the next step is to ensure you have a stable Bluetooth connection. So make sure you are physically close to the box during pairing.
Even at this point, it can take a few tries. But it will work!
If Wallbox verification fails after many attempts, please log in Wallbox app and enable OCPP connection from the Wallbox app.
13.a) Click on settings on the right upper corner
13.b) Click on OCPP connection
13. c) Enable OCPP connection and fill in the details
Charge point identity: The serial number of your charge point
Tick on the "Terms & Conditions" and press "Save"
After completing this process try to integrate your charge point again through the Monta app.
