Do you have a charge point that you wish to share with your friends and/or family?
Here is a guide on how you can create a new team and invite members to it, so they can charge with you. π π
Overview
1. Navigate to "Chargers" and click on "Create a team"
2. Fill in the Team details
Here you need to fill in the details of the team.
If this is a team you are going to use to share your charge point with your friends and family, you should not move the "This is for a company" toggle. If you want to learn how you can create and manage a Professional team, you can read more about it here.
Congrats! The team has now been created and you are ready to start inviting the members! π
3. Navigate to "Chargers" and click on the team
4. Select the "Team Members" tab
5. Click on "Invite members"
6. Select how to invite the new member
Here, you can select if you want to invite the new member by their email or phone number.
If the member does not have the Monta app yet, they will be invited to download it and make an account.
If the member already has a Monta account, please use the email/phone number related to their Monta account.
7. See when the member has accepted the invitation
When you invite a new member, they will appear as "Invited". Once they accept the invitation, they will appear in the "Members" section of the page.
If you want to adjust the member settings, please click on the three dots on the right side of the member.
8. Adjust member settings
Here, you can change the Access rights and the Price group the member is using.
Admin access rights
You can also make the new member an Admin of this team. To do so, select the "Access rights" drop down menu and select "Admin".
Granting a member admin rights gives them the ability to add, remove and update other members as well as edit the price groups and settings of the charger(s).
When a member becomes an Admin of the team, you can also give them the right to manage the team wallet. This means that they will be able to deposit, withdraw funds or use the team wallet when charging their car.
