Did you know that you can have both private and public prices for the charge points on Monta? The answer is yes this is possible!

You can make charge points public and invite members to the team, so they can charge at a better price. You can allocate different prices to different users, how cool is that? 😎

It gets even better, you can do the same with public prices by allocating different price to different charge points! This article explains how to do so.

Section A: Creating Private Price Groups

You can always decide how much different members have to pay for the kWh charged. This can be done by creating a price group and assigning that price group to a member. You can create as many price groups as you wish.

1. Go to the team section Members

2. Click on "Actions" and "Price Settings".

3. Click on "New price group".

Here you will access member price groups. In order to create new price group click on "New price group".

4. Add new price group

Here you will be direct to Price groups section of the team. In order to add a new member price group go ahead and click on "Add New".

5. Select price group type

Here select that you are creating a new member price group.

6. Member price group information

Fill in the information about the member price group, such as description of the price group and set the master price per kWh.

You can also set a master price per minute.

Click on "Save". Once saved you will be directed to the team section Price groups.

7. Set member price group as default

If you set a member price group as default, this means that every time you add new members this price group will be assigned. The same applies to auto accept joiners feature. Every time a member who request to join the team using join code will get assigned the default price group.

Here in the team section Price groups find member price groups column. In order to set member price group as default, click on the 3 dots on the right side of price group and click on "Set as default".

Now you have created a new private price group. Here you can read more on how to invite members to the team and allocate price group.

8. Apply price group to team members

If you want to apply a new member price group to already existing members of the team you can do so by clicking on the 3 dots on the right side of the member price group. In actions click on "Apply to members".

Here you will find all the existing team members and will be able to allocate the member price group.

Section B: Creating public price groups

You can have as many public prices as you want and allocate them to different charge points.

1. Go to the section charge points

2. Price settings

Here you will be able to make public price. Go to "Actions"" which is located on the right side and click on "Price settings".

Here. a field will open, where you can create public price groups.

3. Public price group

Click on "New price group".

4. Add new price group

Here you will be direct to Price groups section of the team. In order to add a new public price group go ahead and click on "Add New".

5. Select price group type

Here select that you are creating a new public price group.

6. Public price group information

Fill in the information about the public price group, such as description of the price group and set the master price per kWh.

You can also set a master price per minute.

Click on "Save".

7. Set public price group as default

If you set a public price group as default, this means that every time you add a new public charge point this price group will be suggested.

Here in the team section Price groups find public price groups column. In order to set public price group as default, click on the 3 dots on the right side of price group and click on "Set as default".

8. Apply public price group to charge points

If you want to apply public price to a connected charge point in the team you can do so by clicking on the 3 dots on the right side of the member price group. In actions click on "Apply to charge points".

Here you will see all charge points who have that public price group allocated. You can also assign the price here and click on "Save".

9. Ways to assign public price groups

You can create many different public price groups and allocate them to different charge points. This can be done by going to the public price group and select only particular charge points.

Or you can add the same public price for all the charge points in the team.

Section C: Creating sponsored price groups

For the option that a company only pays for the electricity used for the company's electric car, as soon as an employee has completed a charge at home, the reimbursement is transferred from the company's Monta Wallet to the employee's Monta Wallet. Therefore you have to create a sponsored charge point. More information about sponsoring charge points you find here.

1. Access the Team to Which the Sponsored Charge Point is Added

Open Teams section and click on the name of the team to which the sponsored price groups are added.

2. Go to price groups

Go to price groups, go ahead and click on "Price groups".

3. Add a new price group

Click on "Add new" in the right corner.

4. Select Sponsored price group

Choose "Sponsored price groups" and go ahead.

5. Set master price

Fill in the information about the sponsored price group, such as the description of the price group and set the master price per kWh.
