Your "Local Station" refers to the station that appears on the "Home" tab of the Moody Radio app.

When you first install the Moody Radio app, you will be prompted to allow location permissions, if you choose to deny location permissions your local station will be set to the default Moody Radio Network. If you allow location permissions your local station will automatically be set to your nearest local station by geo-location.

In the guide below you can learn how to change your local station if you would like to have a different local station be set as your personal local station on the Home screen of the app.

On the home page, click the 2 bars on the top left of your home page. See Fig I

If GPS location services are permitted on your device for the Moody Radio app the search engine will automatically fill in your zip code (this may take 10-20 seconds) and will display your closest station at the top of the list. If GPS location services are not permitted the default local station will be the "Moody Radio Network" station. See Fig III

If you want to select or favorite a different station that's not in your local area. Go to Step 4.

In the white banner, click to search for the station you want, you can either search by using the keywords of Cities, States, Zip Codes, Frequencies, or Call letters. See Fig IV

Note: You must use the specific keywords of a local Moody Radio station that exists already. Example: For Moody Radio's local Chicago station, the searchable keywords would be Chicago, Illinois, 60610, 90.1 FM, WMBI. You cannot use keywords for a City, State, or Zip code that does not have a Moody Radio local station frequency. Example: Los Angeles, Kansas, 11101

If you still do not see the local station that you are looking for, go to Step 5.

To see all local stations, click on the "Show All Stations" button and swipe down until you find the station you are looking for. See Fig V

After you have found the local station, you are looking for. Click on the station and it will be set as your default local station. This will be confirmed by a blue box around the selected local station.

If you want to switch quickly between local stations you can click the star to add it to your favorite stations in the "Favorites" tab. See Fig VI

You can return to the Home page by hitting the “Back” button and then hitting the "X" button from the Settings menu.
