Moonbird was invented, designed and developed in Belgium. The idea came to life with the help of doctors, psychologists and pharmacists, and the full product development took place here. The very first collections of moonbirds were made entirely by hand in Antwerp, one device at a time.
As demand grew, we reached the limits of what we could produce on our own. Today, part of the production process takes place with a manufacturing partner in China, while part of the assembly and our quality control remain in Antwerp. That combination is what allows us to keep up with demand without letting go of the standard we set for ourselves at the very beginning.
What has not changed is where moonbird comes from. The design, the engineering, the research behind the breathing rhythms and the testing all happen in-house in Belgium. We select our production partners with the same care we put into the product itself, and we stay closely involved in every step of how a moonbird is built.
