Travel mode and exercise mode

Learn how to switch moonbird’s sensitivity for travel or daily use via the app.

You can set the sensitivity of your moonbird:

  • The “exercise mode” is sensitive. You can activate your moonbird smoothly, no matter your skin type or blood flow.

  • The “travel mode” is less sensitive. The moonbird is only activated when the sensor detects a real heartbeat (instead of just “dark”). This way you can take your moonbird on the move without it going off in your bag.

We released a new version of the app and firmware allowing you to switch between the two modes yourself.

To do so:

  • Open the moonbird app

  • Go to settings

  • switch the toggle between “travel mode” on and off to adjust the sensitivity of your sensor.

Important: if your moonbird doesn’t seem to start in standalone mode, it could be because travel mode is still enabled. Try switching back to exercise mode to see if that solves it.
