Our sensor has two modes. The "exercise mode" is less strict so that anyone can activate moonbird smoothly (e.g. different skin types: more mature or rougher skin types). However, in some cases, the moonbird then activates in the handbag or pocket, which can drain the battery.
The "travel mode" is very strict in the sense that it requires the sensor to detect a real heartbeat (instead of just "dark") so that this can no longer occur if you take your moonbird on the move.
We have released a new version of the app and of the firmware through which you can now switch between the two modes yourself.
To switch between the two modes, double-check that you have the latest version of the app:
Uninstall the app from your phone
Download the latest version of the app
Go to "Settings
Switch the toggle between "travel mode" and "exercise mode" to adjust the sensitivity of your sensor
Then download the latest version of the firmware:
Open the app
Go to settings > my moonbird > check for firmware updates
Update the firmware
Having done this, you'll be able to switch the toggle between on and off to adjust the sensitivity of your sensor in the settings of your moonbird.
