Troubleshooting Apple Refunds

If you encounter a problem after submitting a refund request to Apple:

Check the status of your Apple refund

Visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com/status to see a list of refund requests and determine the status of your request. If your request is still pending, you will typically need to wait up to 48 hours.

Appeal Apple's refund decision

While most refunds requests to Apple are approved, in certain cases they may deny refunds for in-app purchases made on the App Store. Fortunately, these cases can be appealed. To appeal:

  1. Call Apple at: (800) 692‑7753

  2. When prompted say "App Store Billing"

  3. You will be transferred to an agent who can help appeal your refund request.

Can Moongate help me further?

Unfortunately, Apple does not provide Moongate (or any app developers) with the ability to give refunds to customers for purchases made using the App Store. As a result, we are not able to issue refunds for these subscriptions. Our only option is to refer you to the Apple refund request process.
