Moovs gives you two ways to update a customer’s credit card information. Updating via the customer’s contact card or generating a payment link via the customer’s reservation. Below you will find a breakdown of both methods.
Updating via the customer’s contact card.
To update via the customer’s contact card, start by going to Contacts -> Searching for the Customer -> and selecting Add Card.
From here, you’ll be able to add in your customer’s new credit card information and even delete any old or expired credit cards.
Updating via a payment link.
To update via a payment link, start by going to the reservation needing updated payment information. From here, select “Preview Payment Link,” and copy the link shown to you. Once you’ve copied the link, you can text or email this link to the customer.
NOTE: With the payment link method, the CUSTOMER is updating the payment method themselves.
