1. Passport photo
Upload or take a clear photo of your passport. Make sure the full page is visible, sharp, and well lit.
2. Take the photo
If you choose to take a photo, place your passport flat, use bright even lighting, remove glare, fill the frame, and keep your phone steady.
3. Check details
Make sure the information in each box matches your passport exactly. Any mismatch can cause your verification to fail.
4. Add details
Enter your full address and phone number, and make sure both are correct before continuing.
5. Thailand users only
If you plan to use Moreta in Thailand, complete the passport NFC scan. Without this step, some Thai QR codes will not work. If you won’t use the app in Thailand, you can skip it.
6. Scan passport
If you chose the NFC scan, place your phone on the back cover of your passport and hold it still until the chip is read.
7. Take your selfies
Follow the on screen steps to take three photos of your face: one front, one left, and one right.
8. Get results
Verification typically takes under a minute. You will receive an email notification with your results.
